Design Researcher

Rosie Monteith

With a background in Product Design, Rosie approaches research with a blend of artistic creativity and precision, developed through a unique “Arts and Engineering” degree course.

During her placement year, Rosie worked on speculative design and future-oriented thinking, developing her ability to conduct in-depth research and explore emerging trends. She enjoys the process of investigating new ideas, synthesising insights, and finding ways to turn them into practical concepts. Her storytelling skills help her share these findings, making abstract research accessible and guiding thoughtful design solutions.

Most creative when…

Outside of work, Rosie finds inspiration through movement. Whether swimming, running, or wandering around Bristol in search of baked goods and coffee—she draws from her surroundings and experiences. Some of her best ideas emerge during those quiet, transitional moments just before sleep or right after waking up.
